Sir

I should not thus often presume to take you of your weighty
affaires with the peruseing such insignificant
letters, as I commonly trouble you with, had I not been
certainely informed by my servant at London, that
my letter to you, by Collonell Benjamin Rozier, was, through
his carelessnes, lost with severall others, that he had
to deliver vpon his arriveall at London; This giues
me now confidence of sending this to acknowledge
your last favour to me, and to giue you fresh assure
ances of the sense I haue of your friendship & kindness
to me. I vnderstand that Mr William Penn was en=
deavouring to obtaine a grant of his Majestie of
a considerable Territorie to the Norward of my
Pattent, and I hope you will be so kind to me
as to acquaint the Earle of Anglesey and my Lord
Psauleouberg[?] that I beg their Lordships favour in in=
listing vpon the Northern bounds given me by
Mr Augustine Herman's Mapp, which Mapp his Majestie
has been pleas'd to allowe of, and did order some
moneys for the Fruiting thereof. My Servant writes me
word that he had imploy'd one to appeare for me
att the Councill Table, whome I entreat you'll please
to afford your countenance and favour ^ to which I will
most gratefully acknowledge as becomes

Sir your most obliged friend & Servant
C. Baltemore
