I received your letter January 26th, dated the 14th November with the rest
inclosed and give you thankes for the care you have had
of my business, and for the Intelligence you gave me,
the letter from the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury
is very civill, but might be more fully explain'd, and
I wish it were done, and I have writ to them to desire it,
as to the business of Penaltyes I take for granted will
come to nothing.

I have writ Somthing in generall relating to the Councill
here, to the Lords of the Committee, and have in perticular
made my request that Sr. Henry Morgan & Collonell Needham
may be forthwith admitted into the Councill, I desire
you will further the dispatch of that business, and
that you will give your assistance to any affaires of
mine, that Shall be brought to you by Mr. Bindlos
or any other, and on my part you shall not faile
of a Suitable acknowledgement.

I have Sent you all the Minutes of the Councill from
the date of my last (to you) to this day and desire you
will acquaint the Lords of the Committee with them.
I received your Letter by Collonell Beckford with a flying Seale. I think
the Collonell is a very honest Gentleman, and have imploy'd
him to give an account to his Majestie of Pirat's and Privateers
in Generall, & to give his reasons how far it would be
ffor his Majesties Service if I had the power of pardoning
such I am
