Sr

I received yours by Sr Francis Watson and am sorry to
find their Lordships under so much dissatisfaccion att my proceedings
wherein I haue with so much caution deported myselfe with hopes
not to haue fall'n under their displeasure, betwixt whose uneasiness
and the Inhabitants of this Island I am discouraged to obtaine what
their Lordships look for, or this place expects, and this hath occasioned my
resolucion to embarque in the next Fleet for England, which wilbee about
the end of May, and bring with mee in the Fleet Colonell Samuell Long
Lieutenant Colonell Beeston Late Speaker of the Assembly with other of the Assembly
men, whose private occasions calling them home; I haue hopes to make
advantage to the Publique settlement of ^ this Island, since their is no other
expedient to convince them of the King & Councils resolution in this
Affaire, I am
