Boston. 27. December. 1686.

Sr

Yours of 14th October 1680. I receiued by Mr Chamberlayne
17th December instant, wherein you are pleased to informe
mee of the receipt of two Letters from our Generall Court, to the
Earle of Sunderland, as also of a letter from myselfe with
an anwer to seurall querees inclosed to the right honorable the
Lords of his Majesties most honourable pryvy Council appointed
a Comittee for trade and forrain plantacions, for which
I returne my hearty thanks. I also, receiued by Mr. Chamberlayen
his Majesties gratious Letter of 30th September last, which I haue
Comunicated to the Magistrates here, and haue caused a
Generall Court Cannot withstanding the extremyty of the Season)
Speedily to be consented, when I hope all his Majesties Comands
wilbe soe considered, and complyed with as may giue good
Satisfaccion, to his Majestie and Council, wherein I assure you
Sr my vtmost indeavour shall not be wanting. which is all
att present, but that I am:
