Sir

I have nothing to adde to the Foregoing Copy of
my last to you worth notice.

The French continue their daily Incursions by
the Privatiers, in attempting the stealing of
Negroes in the Night. I had the good Fortune
to Surprize One of their Canooes, lately, and took
Five of their Men Prisoners which I hope
may put some stop to their Designs of this
kind for some time.

In my former I desired your Favour to procure
us from his Majesty Two Swift Sailing small
Fregats to prevent their Attempts of that kind,
and also commanded my Son to wait upon You
to pray your

to pray your Favour in procuring the Regiment here
lately Collonell LLoyds for Me, which I hope he has done
and that through your kindness I may receive the
Kings Favour herein which shall be gratefully
acknowledged by
