Boston 15. April. 1691

Honorable Sir

I am honored with yours of the 11. past per John
Perry, and much obliged by your favours my good freind
Mr deedes, I have also received inclosed from New Yorke a
Coppy of a letter directed to our General here with Orders
to deliver it to Captain Ravenscroft, and it shall bee
safely preserved for him hee being gone to Yorke &
arrived there the day after it was sent, its at
present inn Mr Jeffryes hands who I perceive by
your honors Letter had reference to it. Collonell Dudleys ill
usage by our peoples Tongues still continues, and
the faults of Blood shed at Yorke & other crimes by
the traitors Committed are imputed to him, &
they will not beleive that Leisler &c deserve hang=
ing or that the Government there will dare to give
it them,
our Pondering on their ill Circumstances
makes vs a little Wince; the Newes of the Charter is
still very fresh and renewed by a letter from [illegible]
that tells us An accoount was seen in a Newes Letter
that it was ^ given on the 2d of January past others thence
say no such thing. Our Nomination is out and wee
proceed vigorously to Election in Confidence that all
is on our side. Wee have also a broken account via
Litzbon that the Plaque was very hot in Limrick
and that the Porters [illegible] set open the gates, who
pleased went out and that the English Forces would
not venture in others say theres a great deale
of blood Lost and it is in King William's Hands. I
begg pardon for my tedoiusnes, Wish your Honor
all health and happynes and Assure you taht

I am your honors obliged and
humble Servant
Daniel Allin
