Boston September the: 27: 1694

Honnerd

Sr: I had the Honnor of kissing his majestees hand
In Counsell: Last Febrvary at which time I
Layde before them the Draught of Cannada:
riuer & did Intimate the Survis that might
be don: Against the french: by two Light frigets
& a fire Ship If they were Ordred to cruse in
that Riuer in the months of may June July
& August: which are the vsuall months the french
of those parts haue Supplies Sent from France
& they might be Intrupeels[?] with Litell Charge
to their majesties whose Subjects in these northern parts
of America Seuerly Galed: by the: canada: french
& Such of the Heathen who: they haue profited to
their Intrest: ; I did offier my Sarvis in this affare
& my Lord falkland: Assured me that Ships Should
be Sent me hear Early next Spring for this accation
& that I Should be appointed Commander of them
now if it is Ordred that Ships are Apointed for
Saruis Against next Spring & that I may be
Estemed worthy of the trust of [illegible] Commandore
I hope according to Your wonted frendship to me
you will not forgit to Commend me in this
Affare to the Lords of the Admerellty & to Such
Others who Shall haue the mannedgiment of the
Expedishon the proper time for Ships to Come
out will be in march & it will be nesseserey they
be Ordred: to tuch hear before they to upon

attemps upon Summe of our fruntear [illegible] Cases
where they killed & Carreyed away 140 Inglish
& are daley Expecting to hear of more michtif
dun by them Sune After my Aruiells From

2 Small priuettears Slupes 25 men In Each
brought in to this poart a Large flieboate
Bound from France to Quebeck Laden with
Stores & Other Things Proper for that
plantation.: Valled by their french Invoises
at 19000l: Starling the Commanders of the Said Slups
repoart that in cannada riuer whare they met
Capps the 2     the flieboat their ware ten Saile more: of vesells
bound up to Qubeck which they Saye might
all haue bin taken & Distroyed by two Ships
of forse; honered: & kinde Sr I haue Allredy
bin Verey Senseible of Your Presects to me
& If I Liue & am Capeble I Shall Studey
how I may be more gratefull what is all
