Barbados the 24th. of August 1695:

Sir:

I have write to my wife to pay you or your Order fifty
pounds, Either at Bath or London (as you like best) to answer
any Charge that may Arise on the Kings Order as soon as you
shall please to signefie to her the request I made to the King
be granted which if it shall soe be, I humbly pray you to send
it to me by the first Conveyance & a Duplycate by some other
Ship Sir I haue by Captaine Robert Sandes Comander of the
Recovery, I have sent you a small Cask of Suckets which please
to Accept of from
