Ever Honored Sr:

This comes chiefly to Accompany my Accounts for
halfe a year ending last Christmas day, with the Warrants
& Vouchers, allso a Receipt from Mr. Randolph for
his years Salary ending in Aprill 1698. but not being
in the way when I made up that years Account, I
could not procure the Warrant to bee indorsed
by him; The Salary to the General of the Councill is
not yett brought to this Account So that they will
haue a whole year due to them in Aprill
next; There is nothing in the Account but what
was usuall, many extoardinary charges being
now retrenched by his Excellency.

Inclosed herewith is allso a bill for the Salary
due to your honored Selfe for halfe a year, And
I craue leaue to wish you many happy new
years & presume to Subscribe my Selfe
with profound respect
