Boston In New England Aprill 2d 1683

Honored Sir

Mr Randolph being the bearer of letters noe occasion to Comunicate the
Transactions of the Collony, he hath been Industrious in his observations, and
collections, and its hoped willbe Just and favourable in his representations,
Mr Lewin hath been unkind to the Narragansett proprieters in letting the Comission
ly soe long, it was much desired that Mr. Randolph might haue assisted in the
Execution, if not first come away I haue orderd my Son to Satisfy the Charge
however to wait upon yourselfe for your Comand hither, I hope the Despatch of this
Comission, and your further favour for Settlement upon the Report that maybe
made [illegible] will giue occasion to the Gentlemen concernd to make due [illegible]
acknowledgments, Sir Mr Randolphs Imediate Departure makes me refer to his
report and abruptly to [illegible] myselfe.
