The disorders & trouble of Colonel Beckford by the
death of his Lady, who departed this life this day,
and his journy into the Country to bury her,
permits him not to write you by this fleet, as he
intended : He remits you by order of Council, for one
years Salarie, by his own bil (for none could be
had here at any rate) on Mr. Batholomew Gracedien £150
sterling dated 18 April, at ten dayes Sight, payable to
you or order, which is inclosed by
