Whitehall 20th. February 1692/3

Sr

I would not fail to acknowledge your Letters of the
7th. of July & 26th. of October wherein you where you seem desirous to have
the Accounts of Mr. Bacon finally post'd the Ballance whereof as [illegible]
of the Account of Quit Rents &     & the rest will be
you intimate is to be made good by Mr. Geffry Geffrys ^ hereBut as
The rest will be in Virginia to the Publick Stock
the papers you that have been sent for that purpose are not so
authentick that I can form a proper Account from them
Mr Byrd receivs by this Conveyance the State of Mr. Auditor
Bacons last Accounts with the Ballance whereof he is to be
charged and with the Account of Negroes which had not
yet been fully stated [illegible] upon the return of which and
your Answer thereunto I shall be able finally to pass the
Account wherein you are concern'd for your finall discharge
which is all from Sir
